In this episode And She Looked Up co-founder Lisa Bolton returns to the podcast to talk with Melissa about different techniques to help you visualize success in your career and in life.
Visualizing your way to success might sound a little “woo woo” but at this stage in our careers we’ve both seen that it can be pretty powerful when you let it.
Of course, visualizing success doesn’t mean you simply get to think about hitting a six figure revenue goal or getting published in Vanity Fair while sitting on the couch eating Doritos. You still have to do the work!
We compare it to professional or high performing athletes - many of them work with sports psychologists to help them visualize success. They recognize that the brain plays as critical a role in their performance as eating right, sleeping right, staying in top physical shape and constant practice.
In this episode we cover different visualization techniques that you can try on your own - because it’s important to remember that everyone processes things differently!
