In This Episode We Talk About
In this episode we talk about:
Meghan’s creative and entrepreneurial journey
how a health crisis changed the trajectory of her career in unexpected ways
trying things out to see what you love, what works and what doesn’t and what makes money that aligns with your core values
growing incrementally and letting one thing build on another
where the ideas come from and the zone of creativity
being still enough to let creativity come to us
the fear of failure in our work
genuinely building a community around your work and why it’s so important to your business and your happiness
not being afraid to go big but with small steps
how she started an actual school!
how she delegated and doubled her team so she could continue to try new things without giving up the business she loves
how hitting a wall with her own mental health took her on a new path
her new program that’s in the works revolving around coherence training (using different techniques that help regulate our heart rate variability to effect how our brain functions)
using these techniques to elevate our critical thinking, our creativity, our intuition, our self-regulation while lowering stress, reactivity and aggression to help us thrive (and how this can be useful to creatives)
how meditation works and what it physically does to our brains (including “meditative” activities and how those bring you into coherence)
actively seeking out hobbies or experiences that bring your joy that get you into the “zone” (playing an instrument, doing a puzzle, knitting a scarf)
